Enjoy a friendly, family day out meeting our animals and birds

Rays Farm is a special place to bring the family and enjoy a relaxing day in a little bit of Shropshire’s finest countryside.

From Guinea Pigs and Reindeer to Chickens and Owls, there are plenty of animals and birds to see. Enjoy fresh, country air while following the unique Wood Sculpture Trail through Ancient Woodlands to find all of our unique wood carvings.  Listen out for the babbling brook and the chatter of birds whilst on your way.

Balancing Act!

In the Small Animal Barn, our latest arrivals are always on display (this Barn will reopen from Saturday 4th July).

For children with boundless energy we have a choice of play areas to suit all ages, Soft Play for tiny tots and outdoor areas for older children.  We offer a wooden activity trail close to the Farm Court Yard and a more daring Forest Play Area with den building and climbing ropes. For all ages, parents included, there is our lovely sandy mini beach area – not too far from fresh refreshments!  (Currently outdoor play areas can reopen from 4th July, indoor soft play is closed).

Before departing Rays Farm, take a moment to peruse our well stocked gift shop. There are plenty of gifts to suit, from pocket money to birthday present or just as a treat for yourself.
