Enjoy a friendly, family day out meeting our animals and birds
Rays Farm is a special place to bring the family and enjoy a relaxing day in a little bit of Shropshire’s finest countryside.
From Guinea Pigs and Reindeer, to Chickens and Owls, there are plenty of animals and birds to see. Enjoy fresh, country air, while following the Wood Sculpture Trail through Ancient Woodlands, to find all of our unique, wood carvings. Listen out for the babbling brook and the chatter of birds whilst on your way.
Please note: Most of our pathways are accessible for buggies, however we recommend bringing a baby carrier with you if possible, as some paths are steep in places.
In the Small Animal Barn, our latest arrivals are always on display.
For children with boundless energy, we have a choice of play areas to suit all ages. We offer a wooden activity trail close to the Farm Courtyard, and a more daring Forest Play Area with den building and climbing ropes. For all ages, parents included, there is our lovely, sandy, mini beach area – not too far from fresh refreshments!
After exploring Rays Farm, enjoy a Barista style coffee and freshly prepared panini in our Coffee Shop. Handmade cakes and slices are always on offer too for those with a sweet tooth.
Before departing Rays Farm, take a moment to peruse our well stocked gift shop. There are plenty of gifts to suit, from pocket money to birthday present or just as a treat for yourself.
